"Super Typhoon" Bopha, a category 5-equivalent storm with winds peaking over 162 mph, ravaged across the southern Philippines beginning on Tuesday, December 4, killing over 500 people and leaving over 300,000 people homeless. As rescue workers scramble to provide food and shelter, and to search for the over 400 people reported missing, the storm stands poised to strike a second time in the North of the country.
